Retirement Coaching
It is the dream of many to ‘retire’. That’s a fact.
But it’s such a big step in your life – it is unique and can have dramatic consequences.
It’s also exciting, and perhaps a little daunting. Leaving behind the structure of a work environment for the great open spaces of possibility can be an unnerving experience.
The word ‘retire’ can also have negative connotations. Looking it up in a thesaurus I found a host of words to describe it. Words like ‘withdraw, surrender, depart, exit, ebb, regress’. A good first step might be to retire the word ‘retire’ from your vocabulary.
Substantial changes in
our lifestyle can occur when we stop work so it's surprising to realise that
many of us spend more time planning our next holiday than our retirement.
Here are a few things to consider:
If you're already retired, perhaps you find yourself ...
-
wondering if you were fully prepared for retirement?
-
lacking the structure your working life provided?
-
having trouble finding a reason to get up every morning?
-
feeling that there is more to retirement than you are getting?
If you’re planning to stop work maybe you are wondering ...
-
if retirement is the right course for you?
-
what will you do?
-
how will it really affect you and your family?
-
how you can organize your retirement life to get the most out of it?
If any of the above questions ring true for you, contact me to arrange an informal telephone consultation, without obligation and in total confidentiality.
Together we will uncover new directions and possibilities.
You will discovered interests and ventures that will take you towards the
lifestyle you've always dreamed of experiencing and begin to focus on where you
want to be in this new, and most exciting, next phase of your life.
To your success,
